Bringing Humor into Mindfulness and Mindfulness into Humor
I teach the expression of humor from a human point of view. I help individuals develop and deepen their inner funny, explore and deepen their capacities to share that with others (the audience). I work within the context of physical theater and European clown, incorporating elements of butoh dance, mime, improvisation, voice work and taoist health exercises. I encourage dynamic, uplifting and en-lightening styles of humor. This work applies both to performers and to people from all walks of life.
Last
year (2009) I gave workshops in Burma/Myanmar, Japan, Poland, Spain,
Germany, Austria, Belgium and the US. I taught workshops in Theater schools,
Film schools, Clown schools, Clown Doctor programs, Zen Centers, Spiritual
Education Centers and Child Friendly Spaces.
