Comments
from Vienna CliniClown Training (07):
Brigitta:
I really like your work. It gets you out of your head into the body
... Your teaching is very warmhearted, playful and sensitive.
I always had the feeling that I could let myself fall, can fail
in a very protecting, trustful atmosphere-without being ashamed
to look stupid. I also did like that you showed us the connection
between Zen, Butoh and Clowning-it’s teaching life. Thank
you very much.

School
Residencies
In the United States, Moshe offers residencies in schools
in circus arts, and theatrical clowning. Working
with elements that are inherently fun to explore, Moshe helps students
develop physical skills as well as vital communication skills. The
residency’s
overall goal is to enhance self esteem, and to recognize accomplishment
at all levels.
The focus of these residencies is to create enthusiasm for learning.
The pedagogy focuses on:
-exploring circus and performance skills
-developing listening skills (eyes & ears)
-developing presentational skills
-developing concentration
-opening spatial and physical awareness -breaking isolation patterns
-last but definitely not last, having fun
Learning circus skills - juggling, mime and balancing-is not only
fun, but demands a great amount of concentration. As the process
is visual and experiential, students understand the desired result.
The pathway to success requires perseverance patience and practice.
The theatrical clowning work asks to creatively activate their expression.
This leads to students presenting short moments to an audience (their
classmates) in individual and group improvisations.
